What this mod does
JATO and Ram Plow for Everything is a very popular joke mod by Agent_Y: it adds JATO rockets (jet-assisted takeoff boosters, like the ones some of the game’s vehicles already have) and a front ram plow to almost any car. The author describes it as the mod everyone wanted but nobody made because it was too much work for something so silly.
How it works
- It fits on cars that have a license plate design slot (License Plate Design), where you pick the rockets and plow in its subslots.
- Stock cars should work without any tweaking; on modded cars you may need to adjust the roof, door or plow position from Tuning.
- Options for infinite JATO fuel and a weaker plow for light cars.
- Adjustable rockets also for the Gavril D, MD and T series, the school bus, the armored car, the Hirochi HT-55 dump truck and the WL-40 loader.
What’s new
Version 4.0, from August 5, 2026, lets you adjust the nozzle angle, like on the stock vehicles: on some cars you can even fly with it, and the snowman’s rocket works as a controllable jetpack. The fix for 0.38 arrived in December 2025.
Who it’s for
For anyone who wants to go wild: absurd acceleration, impossible jumps or crashes at ridiculous speeds. The light bars it includes still don’t work very well, according to the author.

How to install it
- Open the JATO and Ram Plow for Everything page on the official BeamNG Repository.
- Click Download to get the .zip, or subscribe from the in-game Repository (Subscribe button).
- If you download it manually, copy the .zip (don't unzip it) into the mods folder inside your BeamNG.drive user folder.
- Launch the game and check in the Mod Manager that it's enabled.
- In the car's Vehicle Config menu, open the license plate design slot and pick the JATO rockets and plow in its subslots; adjust positions in Tuning if needed.

Common problems
The rockets are invisible. What should I do?
A user saw it after 0.39 with version 3.3 and the author acknowledged the bug; install 4.0, released later, and clear the cache.
I can't get the JATO onto a modded car. Why?
Change the mount in the parts selector and adjust the position in Tuning; not all modded cars fit the same way.
Can I use it with the Universal Dummy mod?
Yes, it has a dedicated slot since November 2024, but the author warns that fitting both mods in both slots at once makes the car explode.
