What this mod does
Realistic Vanilla Configurations Pack, by SpaceGood, aims to fill the gaps in BeamNG.drive’s official configs with believable versions, made only with content the game already includes. The idea is to expand the selector without cluttering it with unrealistic builds.
What’s included
- Over 120 configs.
- Configs that were removed from the game, available again.
- Missing factory trims, tuned versions and custom builds.
- Rally and police versions that make use of unused parts.
- The Powerglow vehicles turned into their own configs.
- Each one with a description, thumbnail, performance figures and price; liveries and colors inspired by retired configs, real cars or old release notes.
Compatibility
The author says they should work in Career mode. Version 2.3, from October 14, 2026, reworks the Gavril D-Series configs with 28 new ones and factory stepside bed options; 2.2.1 added a retired police Bastion and refreshed the police Sunbursts. The mod page doesn’t mention multiplayer.
Tips
To avoid conflicts, the author recommends removing other stock config packs before installing it. The performance figures shown for each config may not be exact, because they come from the game’s automatic calculation. It’s updated often: since May 2026 it has had 19 updates, and the author takes config ideas from the community.

Requirements
- BeamNG.drive 0.39 or later
- About 15 MB of free space for the .zip file
How to install it
- Open the Realistic Vanilla Configurations Pack page on the official BeamNG Repository.
- Click Download to get the .zip, or subscribe from the in-game Repository (Subscribe button).
- If you download it manually, copy the .zip, without unzipping it, into the mods folder inside your BeamNG.drive user folder.
- Launch the game and check in the Mod Manager that it's enabled.
- Open the vehicle selector and look for the new configs under each official car.

Common problems
Does it work in Career mode?
The author says the configs should work in Career.
Can I use it with other config packs?
The author recommends removing other stock config packs to avoid conflicts.
