What this mod does
Scintilla Acquarossa is a mod focused on the aerodynamics of the Civetta Scintilla, the game’s supercar. The author presents it as a track car built in very small numbers, one of them supposedly street-legal.
What’s included
- Adjustable front splitter, rear diffuser and front ballast.
- A rear wing with an active or adjustable element, side reflectors and seven designs for the wing and diffuser.
- Its own front lip and vented hood, trimmed rear subframe, rear bumper and wheel arches, reinforced tailgate, third brake light and exhaust.
- An ECU that controls the wing and traction control, alternative reverse lights and a rain-style rear fog light.
- A race display with standby mode and an undertray that increases diffuser downforce.
Configs
It comes with three: Acquarossa, the most extreme, with over 1400 hp; Acquarossa Stradale, street-legal with sport tires and a muffled exhaust; and Acquarossa Corse, with less power and more focus on handling.
Compatibility and tips
The latest update, from October 20, 2026, redid the thumbnails and swapped the carbon on the wing and splitter for the original Scintilla’s. The mod page doesn’t mention Career mode or multiplayer. The author asks you to report bugs in the forum thread rather than in the reviews, and forbids reuploading it to other sites.

Requirements
- BeamNG.drive 0.39 or later
- About 4 MB of free space for the .zip file
How to install it
- Open the Scintilla Acquarossa page on the official BeamNG Repository.
- Click Download to get the .zip, or subscribe from the in-game Repository (Subscribe button).
- If you download it manually, copy the .zip, without unzipping it, into the mods folder inside your BeamNG.drive user folder.
- Launch the game and check in the Mod Manager that it's enabled.
- Open the vehicle selector, go to the Civetta Scintilla and pick Acquarossa, Acquarossa Stradale or Acquarossa Corse.
