What this mod does
Ibishu Plus, by VipVap_, is an add-on pack for the base game’s Ibishu BX-Series and Ibishu Covet, with over 60 configs that make use of the new parts. It has passed half a million downloads.
What’s included
- A sedan version of the Covet.
- An «Alexia» front end for the BX-Series and a «Soft FD» rear end.
- Five customizable engines with a working camshaft.
- A straight-cut dog-box gearbox, custom turbo sounds and a working hybrid system.
- Detailed interior customization.
Release notes
Version 3.4, from August 7, 2026, reworks the engines, adds drift parts and brings 0.39 compatibility. It’s still in Alpha: the author warns that this release has more bugs than usual and that the BX’s 2.0 VVL engine will be redone.
Since 3.4, some users have pointed out pending issues: misplaced engine bay parts on the Bastion, the right-hand-drive race dashboard leaving the pedals and shifter on the left side, the customizable exhaust not showing, or the suitcase missing from the travel config.
Tips
Before reporting bugs, clear the cache and delete previous versions of the mod, as the author asks; bugs are reported in a channel on their Discord. It’s a very large file, over 570 MB, so keep that in mind if you’re short on space. The author explicitly asks that it not be reuploaded to other sites.

Requirements

How to install it
- Open the Ibishu Plus page on the official BeamNG Repository.
- Click Download to get the .zip, or subscribe from the in-game Repository (Subscribe button).
- If you download it manually, copy the .zip, without unzipping it, into the mods folder inside your BeamNG.drive user folder.
- Launch the game and check in the Mod Manager that it's enabled.
- Delete previous versions, clear the cache and look for the new Ibishu BX-Series and Covet configs in the vehicle selector.

Common problems
After updating to 0.39 an engine shows up untextured, what do I do?
Install 3.4, which is the version for 0.39, and delete the old one; one user linked that bug to old versions of the mod.
The Covet sedan shows up as a three-door, why?
A user saw it on 3.0.1 and the author announced a fix in the next update; use 3.4.
Where do I report bugs?
In the bug channel on the author's Discord, after clearing the cache and deleting old versions.
