What this mod does
Custom Bodyworks, by wlkmanist, is a parts pack focused on the Ibishu BX (200BX) that adds materials, vanilla-style parts, widebody kits and aero. Wherever possible, the author used BeamNG.drive’s own assets so everything blends in with the rest of the car.
What’s included
- Analog and digital gauges, steering wheels, bulged and modular hoods, light bars, shift lights and switch panels.
- GTr front end, fenders and side skirts, pop-up and height-adjustable headlights, fog lights, license plates and a spare wheel.
- Nomi GT, GTT, GTRX and GTXX wings, splitters, body-mounted wings and a sequential shifter.
- Two-color gradient paints and color-adjustable underglow for all vehicles.
- Parts for the old coupe: widebody kit, diffusers, exhausts and an interactive interior.
Compatibility
Version 2.0.0a, from September 23, 2026, is listed as compatible with 0.39.4 or later and with Career mode as well. The old coupe parts also require the Coupe Modified mod. The author recommends Advanced Internals and supports other BX parts mods.
Tips
Some parts, like the rear diffuser, haven’t been ported to the new BX yet. The Engine Bay Override feature is experimental and is enabled with the auxiliary debug features checkbox. Adjusting the headlight height changes the beam brightness.

How to install it
- Open the Custom Bodyworks page on the official BeamNG Repository.
- Click Download to get the .zip, or subscribe from the in-game Repository (Subscribe button).
- If you download it manually, copy the .zip (don't unzip it) into the mods folder inside your BeamNG.drive user folder.
- Launch the game and check in the Mod Manager that it's enabled.
- Pick the Ibishu BX in the vehicle selector and look for the new parts in the Vehicle Config menu.

Common problems
Does it work in Career mode?
Yes, the author says it's even compatible with Career.
I can't find the rear diffuser on the new BX. Why?
Some parts haven't been ported to the updated BX yet; the author mentions this on the mod page.
Can I use parts from this mod in my own?
Not without the author's permission, and reuploading it isn't allowed either.
