What this mod does
Utah Overlanding Trails turns BeamNG.drive’s Utah map into an overlanding destination, meaning long off-road trips with stops to camp. The author, Anakin2356, doesn’t replace the map: he adds trails, campsites and signage on top of the original Utah.
What’s included
- More than 15 off-road trails, with more on the way according to the author.
- Difficulty signs at the start of each trail: green (1 to 3 out of 10), blue (4 to 6), blue with a red T (7 to 9, damage likely) and do-not-enter (10 out of 10, 38-inch tires recommended).
- 10 campsites signposted at the turnoffs, many of them at scenic overlooks.
Optional rules
The author suggests a game mode: you can only repair your vehicle at campsites, and the difficulty of the route to each one is marked with one to three danger signs. With the Individual Part Repair Menu mod, one sign lets you repair one part, two let you repair three, and three let you repair the whole vehicle. He also recommends a day-night cycle of about 15 minutes, so you have to reach the next campsite before dark.
Who it’s for
For anyone who enjoys crawling and long routes in a built 4×4. Reviews highlight the rock ledges. It’s a freshly released Beta, and the mod page says nothing about Career mode or multiplayer.

How to install it
- Open the Utah Overlanding Trails page on the official BeamNG Repository.
- Click Download to get the .zip, or subscribe from the in-game Repository (Subscribe button).
- If you download it manually, copy the .zip, without unzipping it, into the mods folder inside your BeamNG.drive user folder.
- Launch the game and check in the Mod Manager that it's enabled.
- Load the Utah map in Freeroam with an off-roader and look for the signs at the start of each trail.

Common problems
Does it replace the Utah map?
No. It adds trails, campsites and signs to the game's original Utah.
What do the sign colors mean?
Green is easy, blue is moderate, blue with a red T is hard, and the do-not-enter sign marks the maximum difficulty.
Do I need another mod?
No, unless you want to follow the campsite repair rules with Individual Part Repair Menu.
