What this mod does
The BMW M340i xDrive (G20) is the current 3 Series in its most powerful form: a 3.0-liter B58 inline six with 374 hp and 500 Nm, xDrive all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic. It’s the work of carbon901 and Deppelover, who publish cars for Euro Truck Simulator 2 on their verified ModLand account, and it’s their most downloaded mod: over 7,500 downloads.
What’s included
- Every G20 engine, from the 316d to the M340i, plus an 800 hp «Tuned» M340i; ZF 8HP76 gearbox for the 330d and M340d.
- Custom 3D sound with turbo whistle, blow-off valve and BMW startup chime; sound fix for multiplayer.
- 25 interiors (five colors times five ambient lights), M steering wheel in leather, Alcantara or carbon, curved display and rear camera when reversing.
- LED taillights, animated wipers, working windows, 13 original BMW colors and three 19- and 20-inch sport wheels.
Version and known issues
Version 1.4.1 is a sound patch (the engines were too loud) released around October 20, 2026 for 1.61. The author warns that when refueling, the pump shows «petrol_price: 0,00 €» and «-nan» liters; it’s down to the car’s physics and he hasn’t been able to fix it. He recommends his «Improved Car Automatic Transmission» plugin, though it isn’t required.

Requirements

How to install it
- Open the mod's page on ModLand (carbon901's verified account) and click the download button.
- Download the .zip file from Modsfire, the external host the page links to.
- Extract the .scs file and copy it to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Launch ETS2, open the Mod Manager and enable the car.
- In your save, go to any truck dealer and enter the mod dealer section.
- Pick the "Deppelover Mods" brand, buy the car and assign it as your vehicle.
