What this mod does
The Volvo XC90 B6 AWD is the big seven-seat Swedish SUV, here with the 300 hp mild-hybrid turbo four-cylinder, eight-speed Geartronic gearbox and all-wheel drive. carbon901 and Deppelover publish it for free on their verified ModLand account, and in two weeks it has passed 1,800 downloads.
What’s included
- 19 engines to choose from, from the 190 hp D4 to the 455 hp T8 Recharge plug-in hybrid, including the Polestar versions; everything is defined per car, without touching the physics of anything else.
- Sound recorded from a real XC90, hybrid startup and shutdown, and Volvo’s own horn and turn signals.
- Full LED headlights, blind spot warning in the mirror (enable the game option), animated front and rear wipers and rain on the panoramic roof.
- 24 interiors (four leathers times six ambient lights), 12.3-inch digital cluster, center screen with map, rear camera and 360 view when reversing.
- Configurator for trim, 21-inch wheels, brake calipers, roof box, head-up display and a tow bar (beta) for car trailers.
Version and known issues
Version 1.1, released around October 27, 2026 for 1.61, improves performance and adds new headlights, taillights and options. One user says it vibrates too much and another that it won’t accelerate fully; a third recommends the author’s physics plugin.

Requirements

How to install it
- Open the mod's page on ModLand (carbon901's verified account) and click the download button.
- Download the .zip file from Modsfire, the external host the page links to.
- Extract the .scs file and copy it to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Launch ETS2, open the Mod Manager and enable the car.
- In your save, go to any truck dealer and enter the mod dealer section.
- Pick the "Deppelover Mods" brand, buy the car and assign it as your vehicle.
