What this mod does
If you use traffic trailer packs, you’ve probably noticed that SCS’s generic trailers keep showing up over and over. Clean Traffic No Default SCS Trailers, by Kass (author of Brutal Traffic and Realistic Brutal Graphics), removes almost all stock SCS trailers from AI trucks.
What it changes in the game
- Traffic trucks stop hauling most of the base game’s generic trailers.
- Trailers from your traffic packs appear more often and the road looks more varied.
- It’s a lightweight mod, designed not to affect performance.
Who it’s for
For anyone who already has a traffic trailer pack installed and wants it to stand out more. On its own, without another pack, it doesn’t make much sense: the author designed it as a companion to those mods. It doesn’t touch your own trailers or the market cargo.
Version
Version 2.1 (September 18, 2026) is the update for ETS2 1.61; Kass has updated it with every game version since 1.58.

How to install it
- Download version 2.1 from the mod's page on TruckyMods.
- Copy the .scs file to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- In the Mod Manager, activate Clean Traffic No Default SCS Trailers alongside your traffic trailer pack.
- Load your profile and drive for a while: traffic refreshes as you go.

Common problems
Does it remove the trailers I bought?
No. It only affects AI trucks' trailers.
Do I need another mod?
It isn't required, but the author recommends it with traffic trailer packs; without them you'll see less variety.
Does it work on 1.60?
Version 2.0 was for 1.60; 2.1 is for 1.61.
