What this mod does
[Cargoes] Compressed Hydrogen is a cargo by SASq that adds a 20 ft gooseneck trailer carrying compressed hydrogen (H2) tubes. It’s standalone: it doesn’t replace anything in the game and shows up in regular freight jobs like any other cargo.
Cargo details
- Tubes 5.486 m long and 55 cm in diameter.
- Weight of 140 kg per tube.
- In the game’s trailer overview it appears in the SCS gooseneck section, under the name «Compressed Hydrogen (H2)».
Version
The description asks for 1.36 or higher, and the author still maintains it: he added support for 1.57 on December 28, 2025 and for 1.58 on February 16, 2026. In May 2023 he fixed a game crash caused by an SCS change to the UI files.
If it doesn’t show up in the job list
The cargo can take a while to appear: sometimes you need to sleep several times. The author recommends sleeping a few times, using the g_set_time console command and not having any active job while you wait. It’s part of his cargo collections and the «Gooseneck Pack», along with other cargoes like compressed helium. SASq doesn’t allow re-uploading or editing it for public use and asks that you link only to Steam Workshop or his website.
