What this mod does
Doubles Anywhere is a mod by Punicron that removes the double trailer restriction in Euro Truck Simulator 2. In the base game, doubles are only used in Scandinavia; with this mod you can haul them through any country on the map.
What it changes
- You can send your owned Double and B-Double trailers to any garage.
- The Freight Market also offers jobs with double box trailers.
- It doesn’t add models or paint jobs: it just unlocks the option for the game’s companies.
- Long HCT doubles can be used everywhere, although the author warns that they may take damage.
Hard parking
To enable hard parking with doubles, set g_simple_parking_doubles to “0” in your profile’s config.cfg file, as the author explains.
Known issues
The author lists companies where doubles can cause problems: BHB, Chimi, Dans le Jardin, Eurogoodies, FCP/BCP/Scout, LVR, Polar Fish, Posped, TE Logistica, Tradeaux and Wilnet Transport. They also link related mods such as Freight Market HCT Doubles.
