What this mod does
Grand Utopia is a fictional map created by MyGodness. It doesn’t recreate any real country: it’s a main island and several smaller French-inspired islands, built at 1:1 scale, so distances and city sizes are close to real life rather than the base map’s reduced scale.
What you’ll find
- More than 50 cities and towns, with the capital, Utopia, split into several districts, plus places like Malterre, Rivenchy and Clerlande.
- A tiered road network: A1 to A8 highways, N1 to N6 national roads and departmental roads.
- The map’s own companies, bus lines and stops, and more than 220 players’ virtual trucking companies (VTCs) represented on the map.
- The formerly separate islands (Akokan Island and Mygotopia) have been merged into a single map.
Who it’s for
It’s a good choice if you want to discover new roads without relying on big map combos, and if you enjoy real-scale driving, with long trips within a single city.
Version
1.20d, released on October 1, 2026 for ETS2 1.61, fixes a serious bug in how signs are displayed and rebuilds the Denver interchange to improve GPS and traffic. The map is free; the author has a Patreon with early access and exclusive content for patrons.

Requirements

How to install it
- Go to the map's page on TruckyMods and check the dependency list before downloading.
- Download all the map files from TruckyMods.
- Copy the .scs files to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Open the game, create a new profile and enable the Grand Utopia files in the Mod Manager in the order the author specifies.
- Start your save and check on the world map that the island appears.
