What this mod does
Poland Rebuilding is one of the best-known map projects in the community. It loads on top of ProMods and replaces its Poland with a version rebuilt from scratch, with a new road network and a good number of cities, towns and villages that don’t exist on the original map.
What it changes in the game
- Poland completely rebuilt, with new roads and more urban areas.
- Version 3.0 is the project’s biggest update: it redoes the center of the country from Szczecin, through the Tricity, Bydgoszcz and Warsaw, down to Zamość.
- Modernized infrastructure and visual improvements in the rebuilt areas.
How to download it
You download it from the official website. Besides the big map package, the site generates a DEF package that’s unique to each user. That system has been in place since version 2.6.1, and it’s what lets you play in Convoy mode, as long as the session host allows optional mods.
Who it’s for
For anyone who plays with ProMods and wants a much denser, more realistic Poland. It doesn’t work with the plain SCS map.
Version and compatibility
3.0 is released for ETS2 1.60 and ProMods 2.83. The official website doesn’t list a version for ETS2 1.61 yet, so if you’ve already updated you’ll have to wait or roll back to the 1.60 branch on Steam.

How to install it
- Install ProMods 2.83 and check that it works on your profile.
- Go to the version 3.0 download page on polandrebuilding.pl.
- Download the full package (7-zip file) and generate your personal DEF package on the website itself.
- Extract the full package and copy its .scs files along with the DEF to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Enable the files in the Mod Manager and place them above ProMods.
- For Convoy, ask the host to allow optional mods in the session settings.

Common problems
Why do I have to generate a DEF on the website?
Since version 2.6.1 the DEF is created on the official website and is unique to each user. Without it the map isn't complete.
Can I play it in Convoy?
Yes, but the host has to allow optional mods in the session settings.
Is there a version for ETS2 1.61?
At the time of writing this page, the latest released version (3.0) is for ETS2 1.60 and ProMods 2.83.
