What this mod does
Paris Rebuild is a mod by Grimes that rebuilds Paris and its surroundings on Euro Truck Simulator 2’s base map. SCS’s original version leaves the French capital fairly closed off; this mod opens it up and brings it to life.
What it changes
- New roads, and roads that were closed in the base game are now open.
- City landmarks, such as the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame.
- Three more companies to load and unload at.
- Vegetation is removed in Paris and Poissy so you can see the buildings and the city skyline.
- Direct connections between Porte de Bagnolet, Poissy and Gonesse, and an east-west corridor across northern France.
- RATP buses in city traffic.
Who it’s for
It’s for you if you play on the base map with the Vive la France ! DLC and feel Paris falls short. It’s a small file, about 18 MB, and doesn’t require any other mods.
Version notes
Version 3.6, released on September 23, 2026, is for ETS2 1.61. It fixes a game crash, rain inside tunnels, a bug at the bus station and a blue texture on the road. If you’re still on 1.57-1.60, the author keeps 3.5 available. It’s not compatible with ProMods 2.71 or later, because ProMods already includes its own rebuild of Paris.

How to install it
- Go to the mod's page on Grimes's website.
- Choose the free download (hosted on ShareMods, with ads) or the ad-free version for 1 dollar.
- Copy the paris_rebuild_v3_6.scs file into Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Open the Mod Manager and enable Paris Rebuild.
- Place it above any other maps you use.
- Load your save and drive to Paris to see the changes.

Common problems
Does it work with ProMods?
No. The author says it's not compatible with ProMods 2.71 or later, because ProMods already has its own rebuild of Paris.
