What this mod does
Iberia ProMods Rework is a ProMods add-on that rebuilds and expands the Iberian Peninsula: Spain, Portugal, Andorra and Gibraltar. The idea is to bring the Iberian part of ProMods, which was created to older standards, up to date so it matches the level of detail of SCS’s Iberia DLC.
What it changes in the game
- Updated signage and kilometer markers on the roads.
- New cities, streets and roads.
- Junctions and interchanges redone to look like the real ones.
- Version 1.40 touches up Barcelona, Burgos, Canfranc Estación, Jaca, Huesca, Lleida, Murcia, Salamanca, València and Zaragoza, along with sections such as the AP-7, AP-2, A-66, AP-68 and N-630.
- It integrates with ProMods’ latest gas station update for Iberia and fixes AI problems on the A-3.
Who it’s for
It’s a great pick if you play with ProMods and often drive through Spain or Portugal: the result is a denser, more recognizable peninsula, with routes you actually know. It’s no use without ProMods, because it loads on top of it.
Version and compatibility
Version 1.40 is made for ETS2 1.60 and ProMods 2.83. If you’ve already updated to ETS2 1.61, wait for the author to release the adapted version before enabling it, because an outdated map can stop your save from loading.

How to install it
- Install ProMods 2.83 and check that it works on your profile.
- Download Iberia ProMods Rework from its official TruckyMods page.
- Copy the .scs file to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Open the game's Mod Manager and enable the mod.
- Place it above the ProMods files, following the load order chart the author publishes.
- Ideally start with a new profile, or back up yours before loading your save.

Common problems
Does it work without ProMods?
No. It's an add-on that modifies ProMods' Iberia, so you need ProMods 2.83 enabled.
Does it work on ETS2 1.61?
Version 1.40 is released for ETS2 1.60 and ProMods 2.83. For 1.61 you'll have to wait for an adapted version.
The game crashes when loading my save. What do I do?
Check that the load order is the author's (the rework above ProMods) and that you have all map DLCs enabled.
