What this mod does
Bulgaria in Focus is a ProMods add-on that focuses on a single country and works it over thoroughly. Instead of adding new territory, it improves the existing Bulgaria so it’s more detailed and better connected, both internally and with neighboring countries.
What it changes in the game
- More than 100 Bulgarian road signs redone to match the real ones.
- More than 250 custom models: new signs, billboards, flags and other elements.
- Added or revamped cities: Sofia, Plovdiv, Veliko Tarnovo, Shumen, Blagoevgrad, Yambol, Karnobat, Karlovo, Sredets, Pirdop, Zlatitsa, Lozenets and Debelt.
- Expanded roads and updated sections in every version.
Who it’s for
For anyone who plays with ProMods and drives routes through the Balkans or toward Turkey and Greece. If you like local atmosphere (signs, billboards, regional license plates), this is where it shows the most.
Version and compatibility
Version 1.38 is compatible with ETS2 1.61 and needs ProMods 2.84. The author says it’s compatible with ROEX and explains the load order to follow. There’s a variant for players who own the Greece DLC and another for compatibility with ProMods’ Greece: pick the one that matches your setup.

How to install it
- Install ProMods 2.84 and check that it works on your profile.
- Download Bulgaria in Focus from its official TruckyMods page (about 59 MB).
- Copy the .scs file to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Enable the mod in the game's Mod Manager.
- Place it above ProMods. If you use ROEX, the overall order should be: ROEX, Bulgaria in Focus, ProMods.
- Load a save and drive to Bulgaria to check that everything works.

Do I need ProMods?
Yes, the author says it requires ProMods 2.84 to work properly.
