What this mod does
This mod from the team behind the virtual trucking company Transportes IberFrío (Murcia, Spain) fills Euro Truck Simulator 2 traffic with foreign vehicles, just like on real European routes. Each vehicle carries its country’s real license plate, with the right typeface and design.
What it changes
- Trucks: around 80% are foreign, and the trailer carries a plate from the same country as the tractor unit.
- Cars, vans and buses: around 50%; motorhomes and cars towing caravans, around 60%.
- Police, fire trucks, ambulances, taxis, city buses and service vehicles keep local plates.
- British vehicles are right-hand drive on the continent, and foreign ones are left-hand drive in the UK.
- Plates from the other 34 countries on the map appear, with slightly more weight for neighbors and big haulage countries like Poland, Lithuania, Romania and the Netherlands.
Version and compatibility
It’s built for 1.61 and covers all 35 countries in the game. It was released on October 24, 2026 and updated the next day. Don’t combine it with other foreign plate mods, such as International Traffic Pack. Density mods work normally, but mods that add AI vehicles lower the percentage of foreign vehicles.
Optional DLC
Foreign DAF 2021, MAN TGX 2020, Volvo FH 2024 and DAF XD trucks only appear if you own those truck packs.

Requirements

- Euro Truck Simulator 2 updated to version 1.61
- No DLC or other mods needed
- Optional: DAF 2021, MAN TGX 2020, Volvo FH 2024 and DAF XD to see those foreign trucks
How to install it
- Open the mod's page on Steam Workshop and click “Subscribe”.
- Wait for Steam to finish downloading.
- Launch ETS2 and open the Mod Manager.
- Disable other foreign plate mods, such as International Traffic Pack.
- Enable the mod and load your save.
Common problems
Can I use it with International Traffic Pack?
No: the author asks you not to combine it with other foreign plate mods.
Does it work with density mods?
Yes, the author says they work normally.
Why do I see few foreign vehicles?
Mods that add AI vehicles lower the percentage of foreign vehicles.
