What this mod does
JRR (Java Road Revolution) takes Euro Truck Simulator 2 to Indonesia. The map recreates Jakarta and a large part of the western island of Java, including the West Java and Banten regions, with left-hand traffic just like in real life.
What you’ll find
- The streets of Jakarta and toll highways such as the Tangerang-Merak.
- Recognizable logistics hubs: the port of Tanjung Priok, the Merak ferry terminal and Soekarno-Hatta airport.
- More than ten bus stations, including Pulo Gebang, handy if you drive coaches.
- The city of Cilegon and the Krakatau industrial area, rebuilt in version 0.90a, plus Indonesia-specific map objects.
Who it’s for
For anyone who wants to get out of Europe and drive in a dense Asian setting, with congested cities, tolls and lots of bus traffic. Since it doesn’t require any DLC, it also works if you only have the base game.
Version
The released version is 0.92a, and TruckyMods marks it as compatible with ETS2 1.59, 1.60 and 1.61. It comes in several variants depending on the UI map background you use; «Type A» is the default version. The author recommends a map background or zoom mod to see the area properly on the GPS and the world map.
