What this mod does

European Grand Utopia is an add-on that links the fictional Grand Utopia archipelago with Euro Truck Simulator 2’s European map. Instead of playing Grand Utopia as a separate world, with this mod you have it integrated into Europe and can take jobs that carry you from the mainland to the islands and back.

What it adds

The connection between the Europe map and the Grand Utopia archipelago, with its own custom-designed landscapes and infrastructure.
The MyGotopia and Akokan Island add-ons, which the author says are now free.
Stated compatibility with Grand Utopia 1.20d and ProMods 2.84 in version 1.12.

Who it’s for

For anyone who already enjoys Grand Utopia and wants to travel to its islands without leaving their European save, and for anyone looking for new destinations that don’t copy any real country. It’s a large map mod: keep your map DLCs up to date and don’t mix it with lots of other maps without checking the load order.

Version

Version 1.12, released on October 1, 2026, adds support for ETS2 1.61. The author revived the project after more than a year on hold, thanks to the collaboration of Grand Utopia’s creator. He warns that when you enable it on an existing save, the game will very likely teleport you to your main garage.

How to install it

Download Grand Utopia from its official page on TruckyMods and put it in Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
Download European Grand Utopia from the author's page on TruckyMods and copy its .scs files to the same mod folder.
Open the game and go to the Mod Manager.
Enable Grand Utopia and European Grand Utopia; if you use UI or map background mods, place them above this one.
Back up your save before loading it, because the game will probably send you to your main garage.
Confirm the changes and load your save.
