What this mod does

Närko Trailers by Kast adds trailers from the Finnish brand Närko to Euro Truck Simulator 2 so you can buy and own them. They were made by Kast, with help from Fabry85. It has over 63,000 subscribers on Steam Workshop.

What’s included

  • Several types of Närko trailer.
  • Single and double setups, plus HCT (high capacity) combinations.
  • Thermo King Advancer series reefer units, added in version 1.2.
  • More chassis options and hoses on the couplings.

Version

The description lists versions 1.37 to 1.57. The last update (1.2.6, from November 21, 2025) adjusted the coupling positions. In 2022 the author wrote that all his mods work with the latest version because trailers barely change between versions.

The author has a thread on the SCS forum with more information and add-ons. It’s about 309 MB.

How to use them

Since they’re ownable trailers, you buy them at the in-game trailer dealer and then configure them in the service shop, just like the stock ones. Version 1.1.2 added the HCT combinations and fixed the landing gear animation.
