Ownable Car Transporter, by 0x008Y1E00, lets you buy a car transporter trailer and keep it as your own. It uses SCS Software’s 3D models. It has over 68,000 subscribers on Steam Workshop.

Version
The description lists 1.58 as the compatible version. The latest Workshop update is from February 13, 2026. Some users are asking about 1.59 and 1.60, and the author hasn’t replied about those versions.
Multiplayer
It works on Convoy, but not on TruckersMP, because it uses its own definition files for the chassis and body.
Permissions
The author says it’s free and that he only publishes it on Steam Workshop. He forbids others from uploading it to other websites: if you share it, use the link to his page. It’s about 4.4 MB.

How to install it
- Open the "[1.58] Ownable Car Transporter" page on Steam Workshop and click "Subscribe".
- Wait for Steam to finish downloading.
- Launch ETS2, open the Mod Manager and enable the mod.
- Make sure you have the High Value Cargo skill.
- In your save, buy the car transporter at the trailer dealer and assign it to your truck.
- Look for car loads on the Freight Market.

No, because it uses its own definitions; it does on Convoy.
