What this mod does
Real Fuel Prices is a mod by Nener that replaces Euro Truck Simulator 2’s fuel prices with each country’s real-world price. Filling up in Spain, France or Turkey costs what it would in real life, so choosing where to fill the tank on a long haul makes sense again.
What’s included
- Prices in euros per liter for 37 countries on the base map and the map DLCs.
- A dedicated section with 23 ProMods regions and another with 9 Middle East countries.
- Weekly updates: the author refreshes it once a week, usually on Wednesdays.
Compatibility
According to the author, it works with ETS2 and its DLCs on versions 1.6x and 1.5x, with ProMods 2.84 and with RusMap. The latest update is from October 21, 2026. The author also publishes a separate non-ProMods version and one for American Truck Simulator.
Good to know
The mod doesn’t change the prices shown on gas station signs: the author explains that those signs are textures and have nothing to do with these values. It also doesn’t give a load order or say anything about multiplayer. It’s a tiny file, about 81 KB, and needs no DLC.

Requirements

How to install it
- Open the mod page on Steam Workshop and click "Subscribe".
- Wait for Steam to finish downloading.
- Launch ETS2 and open the Mod Manager.
- Enable "Real Fuel Prices" and confirm the changes.
- Load your save and refuel: you'll pay the real price of the country you're in.
- Stay subscribed to get the weekly price update.
Common problems
Does it change the gas station signs?
No. The author explains that those prices are textures and the mod doesn't touch them.
