What this mod does
Realistic Diesel prices is a mod by orestescm76 that changes the diesel price at Euro Truck Simulator 2 gas stations to each country’s real price. It’s one of the Workshop’s economy classics: it came out in 2016 and the author still keeps it up to date.
How it calculates prices
- The data comes from globalpetrolprices.com.
- The latest update uses prices from October 9, 2026.
- On islands like Svalbard or the Faroe Islands, it applies the price of the country they belong to plus 21%.
That way, refueling in an expensive or cheap country really shows in your finances, and it pays to plan where to fill up before crossing a border.
Version and compatibility
The author’s description says it’s updated for 1.61 and that, in principle, it should work with any version of ETS2. They list it as compatible with ProMods 2.84, RusMap 2.61, Middle East ProMods Addon, The Great Steppe and Road to Asia.
Good to know
The prices reflect a specific date and don’t update on their own: they change when the author releases a new version. No DLC needed, and the author doesn’t specify any load order.
