What this mod does
RPM Rheinland-Pfalz Map recreates Rhineland-Palatinate, in southwest Germany, at 1:1 scale and with a realistic time scale. It’s a standalone map: it doesn’t add to the Europe map but replaces it, and you play it on its own profile.
What it offers
- Narrow, winding forest tracks, with realistic company parking based on what local truckers describe.
- Secondary roads at their real width and hidden roads to discover.
- Traffic with city buses and pedestrians crossing at crosswalks.
- Animated loading scenes, a special transport route (requires the DLC) and support for forest machinery and Bobcat cargo.
Who it’s for
For anyone who’d rather drive slowly, maneuver and run short, technical routes than eat up highway miles. If you like the challenge of backing a trailer into a tight dock, you’ll get it every day here.
Version and note
1.3.1 (July 16, 2026) is for ETS2 1.60 and adds transparent water materials. 1.3 added the village of Queidersbach and a special transport route. It doesn’t list 1.61 compatibility yet.

Requirements
- Euro Truck Simulator 2 version 1.60
- Going East!, Scandinavia, Vive la France!, Italia, Beyond the Baltic Sea, Road to the Black Sea, Iberia, West Balkans and Greece DLC
- A new profile
- Special Transport DLC for that route (optional)
How to install it
- Download 1.3.1 from TruckyMods or with Trucky Mods Manager.
- Copy the .scs files into Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Create a new profile and, when choosing the map, select the rpm.mbd module.
- Enable the map files in that profile's Mod Manager.
- Don't change the buffer page size in config.cfg: the author advises against it.
- Start playing on the new map.

Common problems
Can I use it with my usual save?
No. It's a standalone map: you need a new profile with the rpm.mbd module.
Does it work on 1.61?
The current version is tagged for 1.60. Wait for an update if you already play on 1.61.
