ProMods add-on that rebuilds Slovakia's oldest roads: the D1 from Trnava to Košice, the I/66 to Hungary and a new I/75. Version 4.7 needs ETS2 1.61 and ProMods 2.84.

What this mod does

Slovensko+ is a ProMods add-on focused on Slovakia, one of the oldest areas of the ETS2 map. Its author, AndrewS_, is gradually rebuilding the roads with new textures and more realistic intersections.

What it changes

  • D1 (E50) between Trnava and Košice, with new textures; version 4.7 improves the Prešov-Košice section.
  • I/66 (E77) from Zvolen to the Hungarian border and I/16 (E58) from Zvolen to Košice.
  • I/75 between Potor and Bratislava, a brand-new road.
  • Tweaks to the I/17, I/18, I/21, R1, I/51 and I/2, at different stages of progress.

Who it’s for

For anyone who plays with ProMods and often crosses Slovakia on the way to Poland, Hungary or Ukraine. It doesn’t add a new country: it brings an area that looked dated up to the level of the rest of the map.

Version and compatibility

Version 4.7 (September 18, 2026) is for ETS2 1.61 and ProMods 2.84. It requires ProMods Europe; there’s no version for the base map. When you add it to a map combo, the def file goes above and the map file below, as the author explains. For version 6.0, the author has announced the town of Svidník and the Dukla Pass.

Requirements

Install first: ProMods Europe
  • Euro Truck Simulator 2 version 1.61
  • ProMods Europe 2.84
  • All map DLCs: Going East!, Scandinavia, Vive la France!, Italia, Beyond the Baltic Sea, Road to the Black Sea, Iberia, West Balkans, Greece and Nordic Horizons

How to install it

  1. Install and activate ProMods Europe 2.84 from promods.net.
  2. Download Slovensko+ 4.7 from its TruckyMods page (or with Trucky Mods Manager).
  3. Unzip the .zip and copy the files to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
  4. In the Mod Manager, activate the Slovensko+ def file and map file.
  5. Place the def above the map file and both above ProMods.
  6. Load your profile and drive toward Slovakia.

Common problems

Does it work without ProMods?

No. ProMods Europe is listed as required content and there's no version for the base map.

Does it work with ProMods 2.83?

Version 4.7 is made for ProMods 2.84 and ETS2 1.61. Version 4.6 was the one for 1.60 and ProMods 2.83.

Does it add new cities?

For now it focuses on roads and intersections. The author has announced Svidník for version 6.0.
