What this mod does
Project Russia is a large map that adds the Moscow region and much of central Russia. Its author, createdbaness, has expanded it by integrating other community projects, such as Road To Arkhangelsk, PushMap and Central Russia, until it passed 40 cities.
What it adds
- Big cities like Moscow, Ryazan, Voronezh, Yaroslavl, Vologda and Arkhangelsk.
- Towns such as Tula, Kolomna, Klin, Oryol, Yelets, Zheleznogorsk, Gzhel and Pokrov.
- Rebuilt highways and interchanges, custom traffic models and ambient sounds.
How to use it
The author says it works without additional mods, but you need all 10 map DLCs for ETS2. It can go into a map combo; if you find bugs, the author asks you to report them on his Discord.
Version
Version 5.7.1a was released as the 1.59 update, and TruckyMods marks it as compatible with 1.59, 1.60 and 1.61. The last big update, 5.7.1, integrated Central Russia with new cities and highway overhauls. It’s a free download from TruckyMods.

How to install it
- Open the Project Russia page on TruckyMods and download version 5.7.1a.
- Copy the .scs files to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Open the Mod Manager and activate all the Project Russia files.
- If you combine it with other maps, check the load order before you start.
- Load your profile and use fast travel or a route into Russia to reach the area.
