What this mod does
ProMods Middle East is ProMods’ expansion into the Middle East. It’s offered separately from the main ProMods Europe package because the team itself prefers to keep it optional given the region’s political situation; that’s why you have to download and activate it separately.
What it adds
- Routes through Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, the West Bank, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
- Long hauls through desert landscapes, Mediterranean coastline and cities very different from European ones.
- A way to extend your playthrough if you’ve already driven all of Europe with ProMods.
Who it’s for
For anyone who already plays with ProMods Europe and wants to keep going into Asia and North Africa. It isn’t a standalone map for the base game: you use it together with ProMods. ProMods clarifies that the map reflects the situation on the ground and avoids controversial political elements.
Version and requirements
Version 2.84 is tested on ETS2 1.61 and doesn’t work on earlier versions; it fixes critical bugs from 2.83. It needs the Going East!, Scandinavia, Vive la France !, Italia, Beyond the Baltic Sea, Road to the Black Sea and Iberia map DLCs. Existing profiles update automatically, with no need to start a new save. The download is free from promods.net with registration; the ProMods store also sells an optional direct download for $1.20.

How to install it
- First install ProMods Europe 2.84 following its guide.
- Log in at promods.net and download ProMods Middle East 2.84.
- Copy the file to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- In the Mod Manager, activate Middle East in the order ProMods specifies relative to the main package.
- Load your profile: there's no need to create a new one.
- If you use other maps, check the ProMods compatibility page before playing.
Common problems
Why isn't it included in ProMods?
ProMods offers it separately and as optional because of the region's political situation.
Can I use it without ProMods Europe?
No: it's a ProMods add-on, not a standalone map for the base game.
Does it work on 1.60?
2.84 doesn't. Each ProMods version is tied to a specific game version.
Do I have to start a new profile?
