What this mod does
Beyond is TerraMaps‘ big map for Euro Truck Simulator 2. It was born from merging the old Road to Asia and Road to Africa, and it expands the game world far beyond Europe, with long routes through Asia and Africa.
Countries and regions
- Central Asia and the Caucasus: Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
- Middle East and South Asia: Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan, with mountain areas.
- East Asia: China, North Korea, South Korea and Thailand.
- Africa: Egypt, Chad, Sudan, Libya, Nigeria and Cameroon, with rough terrain in Chad.
- Corfu, in Greece.
Who it’s for
For players who already know Europe by heart and are looking for very long trips, mountain and desert roads and Asian cities. It’s a heavy map: the team recommends an i5 9600 or Ryzen 3600, a GTX 1660 Ti or RX 5600 XT, 16 GB of RAM and about 13 GB of free space, ideally on an SSD.
Version
V10 adds compatibility with ETS2 1.60 and recalculates the map. It runs on top of the SCS map with all the map DLCs; if you play with ProMods you also need ProMods Middle-East and a GMC community fix for Azerbaijan. The free download comes in five parts, and there’s a faster, ad-free Premium option that supports the project.

How to install it
- Go to the Beyond for ETS2 page on the TerraMaps website.
- Download the five parts of the free version (or the Premium one if you want to support the team).
- Copy all the .scs files to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- If you play with ProMods, also install ProMods Middle-East and the GMC fix listed on the page.
- Open the Mod Manager and enable all parts of Beyond in the order TerraMaps specifies.
- Confirm the changes and load your profile; the first load may take quite a while.

Is it paid?
No. The regular download is free in several parts; Premium only offers a fast, ad-free download and supports the project.
Does it work with ProMods?
Yes, but in that case you need ProMods Middle-East and the GMC Community fix for Azerbaijan that TerraMaps links to.
Does it work on ETS2 1.61?
V10 is for 1.60. Wait for the team's update before using it on 1.61.
The game runs slowly or crashes while loading
It's a very large map: check that you have enough RAM and free space and that all parts are enabled.
