What this mod does
ProMods Maghreb is the ProMods team’s North African expansion. It started out as MSG’s old Maghreb Map, which ProMods adopted in late 2024; since then they’ve rebuilt it and expanded it with Tunisia before releasing version 1.0.
What it adds
- New areas in Morocco and Tunisia, with roads, cities, industries, desert and coastline.
- In Tunisia, the capital and areas like Enfidha, a coastal transport hub, or the rural area of Utique.
- Ferry access: you can cross from Algeciras and continue your routes through North Africa.
Who it’s for
For anyone who drives around the Iberian Peninsula and wants to continue across the Strait, or who wants scenery and roads very different from Europe’s. You can use it as a standalone map on top of the base game or combined with ProMods Europe; if you combine them, ProMods says it must have higher priority than the main ProMods package.
Version and download
Version 1.0.4 is made for ETS2 1.61 and doesn’t work on earlier versions; it fixes critical bugs from 1.0.3, which was the 1.60 version. Like the rest of the ProMods maps, you download it from their website with a registered account. Their store also sells an optional direct download for $1.20.

Requirements
- Euro Truck Simulator 2 version 1.61 (doesn't work on earlier versions)
- A registered promods.net account to download
- Map DLCs: check the list on the ProMods website before installing
- Optional: ProMods Europe 2.84 if you want to combine them
How to install it
- Sign up or log in at promods.net.
- Go to the ETS2 downloads section and download ProMods Maghreb 1.0.4.
- Copy the .scs files to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- In the Mod Manager, activate ProMods Maghreb.
- If you use ProMods Europe, place Maghreb above (higher priority than) the main ProMods package.
- Load your profile and drive to Algeciras to catch the ferry.

No. ProMods says it works as a standalone map or combined with ProMods Europe.
How do I get to Morocco?
By ferry. ProMods specifically mentions arriving from Algeciras.
Is it paid?
The download from promods.net is free with registration; the store sells an optional direct download for $1.20.
Does it work with ETS2 1.60?
1.0.4 doesn't. Version 1.0.3 was the one for 1.60.
