What this mod does
Heart of Africa opens up a new area in West Africa. For now it includes Gambia and Senegal, with four Gambian and three Senegalese cities, and the author plans to expand it later to other countries in the region.
What you’ll find
- Places like the Banjul bridge and port, Gunjur, Barra and Bwiam in Gambia.
- Fatick and Passy in Senegal.
- Jungle landscapes and dry areas, with roads very different from European ones.
- A ferry connection to the rest of the map.
Who it’s for
For anyone who already has all the map DLCs and wants an exotic, compact destination, smaller than the big African expansions but carefully made. It works well as a complement to other Africa maps.
Version
Version 1.60 was released on July 10, 2026 with help from HiSora and requires all the map DLCs. If you play with ProMods, the author recommends the ProMods High Quality AfroEurasia map background so that Gambia and Senegal show up on the world map. There’s no version explicitly marked for ETS2 1.61 yet.

How to install it
- Go to the author's page on TruckyMods and download Heart of Africa.
- Copy the .scs file to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Open the game and go to the Mod Manager.
- Enable Heart of Africa and place it above your other mods, as the author instructs.
- If you use ProMods, add the recommended AfroEurasia map background.
- Confirm the changes and look for the ferry to Africa to reach Gambia.
