What this mod does
ScaniaRedzin is a mod by RzTllReeeedziiN (João Paulo Santos) that gives SCS’s Scania the look of Brazil’s custom trucks. It’s one of the most popular Brazilian mods on the Workshop, with over 157,000 subscribers.
What’s included
- BR 4×2, 6×2, 6×4 and 8×4 chassis, with lowered versions, plus a 6×2 with air suspension in beta.
- Mercosur plates, centered or side-mounted, and a low front bumper with fog lights.
- Cut and BR mudguards, an optional deflector, antennas, horns and windshield stickers.
- Flags in the cab, tinted windows, the «corujinha» and the Scania Bluefun edition skin.
- Straight pipes on the 520 hp V8 and Kapitan Kriechbaum’s sound on the V8s, credited by the author.
Version
The eighth update doesn’t add content: it makes the fixes needed for 1.60. The latest one is from June 25, 2026.
Known issues
The author explains that many crashes come from sound packs: place the truck above them in the Mod Manager. On the 4×2, the mudguard brackets can clip inside; use the stock ones. Some users have had crashes when buying it on 1.58 and 1.60.

Requirements

How to install it
- Open the mod page on Steam Workshop and click Subscribe.
- Launch ETS2 and open the Mod Manager.
- Enable ScaniaRedzin and place it above your sound packs.
- In your save, go to the Scania service shop or dealer and pick the BR parts in the truck configuration.
Common problems
The game crashes
The author recommends giving the truck higher priority than your sound packs.
The 4x2 mudguard clips inside
It's a known bug; use the stock brackets until it's fixed.
