What this mod does
Traffic Fueltanks is a mod by Atze Gaming for Euro Truck Simulator 2 that adds three-axle fuel tankers in the colors of real oil companies to traffic. That way, you’ll see tanker trucks on the game’s roads that look like the ones driving around Europe. It has almost 40,000 subscribers on Steam Workshop.

They’re traffic trailers: you can’t buy them or use them for jobs, they only appear on the road. The author says it’s compatible with other traffic mods.
Version
It was released on October 24, 2025, and he marks it as version independent. On January 18, 2026, he replied in the comments that it works on all versions, but he doesn’t state any specific one.
Known issues
Two users got an error because the petrol_ch3.sii file is missing, and one said some tankers didn’t load. Another user fixed it by deleting the accessories[] and vehicle_accessory lines from the files in /def/vehicle/trailer, and said the tankers then show up on 1.61. The author hasn’t responded to those reports.

How to install it
- Open the “Traffic Fueltanks” page on Steam Workshop and click “Subscribe”.
- Wait for Steam to finish the download.
- Launch ETS2, open the Mod Manager and enable the mod.
- Load your save and drive: the tankers show up in traffic.
