What this mod does
Volvo Construction AI Traffic Pack, by FairyEev04, puts trucks with lowbeds carrying Volvo Construction Equipment machinery into Euro Truck Simulator 2 traffic. It has almost 52,000 subscribers on Steam Workshop and a five-star rating.
Which machines you’ll see
- Volvo A25G articulated hauler.
- Volvo EC220E crawler excavator.
- Volvo L250H wheel loader.
- Volvo EW240E MH wheeled excavator.
- Volvo bucket.
The loads ride on lowbeds (lowbed and lowloader) and show up on both highways and narrow roads. They add variety to traffic, especially near construction sites and industrial areas.
Requirements
You need the Volvo Construction Equipment DLC: the author warns it won’t work without it, because it uses those official models. It doesn’t need any other mods. This mod only affects AI traffic: if you want to haul those machines yourself, you’ll have to do it with the DLC’s own cargo.

The description lists version 1.58. The mod was published and updated on April 17, 2026. The description is in English and Dutch. The same author releases a version for American Truck Simulator, which Holymod already covers on its ATS page.

How to install it
- Open the “Volvo Construction AI Traffic Pack” page on Steam Workshop and click “Subscribe”.
- Launch Euro Truck Simulator 2 and wait for Steam to finish the download.
- Open your profile's Mod Manager and enable the mod.
- Make sure you have the Volvo Construction Equipment DLC installed.
- Drive on highways and secondary roads: the lowbeds with machinery show up randomly in traffic.
