Automatic Watering System for Farming Simulator 22

What this mod does

Automatic Watering System, by olaf.tnt, is a script that adds automatic watering to factories and plantations. The goal is that you don’t have to refill water by hand in productions that use it, such as greenhouses.

How it works

• Open the production window of the factory or plantation.
• Select the water material.
• Press ENTER or the «Activate automatic irrigation» button at the bottom of the screen.

From then on, water is billed automatically and the expense shows up in your finances, under production costs.

What it’s for on the farm

It’s a convenience mod for farms with several productions: it saves you trips with the water tank and keeps a factory from stopping because you forgot to refill it. It doesn’t give you anything for free, because you still pay for the water; it just automates the task. It’s especially useful in long savegames with lots of greenhouses. Enable it only on the productions that need it and keep an eye on the cost in the financial overview.

How to install it

1. Download it from the official ModHub (link on this page) or search for "Automatic Watering System" in the in-game Mods menu, on PC/Mac.
2. If you download it manually on PC/Mac, copy FS22_AutomaticWateringSystem.zip without unzipping it into the mods folder: Documents > My Games > FarmingSimulator2022 > mods.
3. Enable the mod when you create or load your savegame.
4. In your savegame, open the production window, select water and press ENTER or "Activate automatic irrigation".
