What this mod does
This mod by Bartek_kosmos recreates the original Claas Xerion 2500/3000, the system tractor Claas launched in 1997. Its most striking feature is the cab, which can be placed in three positions: center, rear or rear right, for working with front, rear or top-mounted implements.
Versions
- 1997 2500: 250 hp.
- 1997 3000: 300 hp.
- 1999 2500: 265 hp, after the facelift that added 15 hp.
- 1999 3000: 315 hp.
It has an 8.7-liter six-cylinder turbo diesel engine with a continuously variable hydromechanical transmission. It costs 85,200 in-game and reaches 40 km/h.
Configuration and details
You can choose the year, tires, decals, fire extinguisher, rim and hub color, the color of the cab’s hydraulic covers and vintage blue or white glass. It has animated doors, windows, sun visor, controls and interior lighting, and it’s compatible with Dashboard Live, Vehicle Control Addon and Interactive Control.
Version 1.1.0.0 fixed the K80 rear hitch, lengthened the rear arms so some implements don’t rub the wheels, added mouse control, slowed down the cab rotation and redid the sound. Ideal if you like classics with personality.

How to install it
- On console: search for Claas Xerion 2500/3000 Series in the game's mods section and download it.
- On PC/Mac: download FS22_ClaasXerion2500.zip from the ModHub page.
- Copy the file, without unzipping it, into Documents/My Games/FarmingSimulator2022/mods.
- Enable the mod when you load your savegame.
- Buy the tractor in the shop (large tractors) and choose the model year and options.

Common problems
Can you rotate the cab in-game?
Yes, the cab has a rotation animation between its positions; since 1.1.0.0 the rotation is a bit slower.
Why are there two power ratings per model?
They correspond to the year: the 1999 versions have 15 hp more than the 1997 ones.
Do some implements rub the wheels?
Version 1.1.0.0 lengthened the rear hitch arms precisely to prevent that; make sure you have that version.
