John Deere 8R, 8RT and 8RX 2020 for Farming Simulator 22

What this mod does

This pack by SiiD Modding adds the 2020 generation of John Deere’s large 8 Series tractors to Farming Simulator 22 in their US version. It’s one of the best-rated brand tractors on the ModHub, averaging 4.7 out of 5.

What’s included

• Three variants: the 8R on wheels, the 8RT with two tracks and the 8RX with four tracks.
• Engines from 230 to 410 hp depending on the model (230, 250, 280, 310, 340, 370 and 410).
• Store prices: $285,000 for the 8R, $343,000 for the 8RT and $351,000 for the 8RX.
• Configurations for front weights, ballast, North American tires and tracks.
• ILS system on the front axle, US-style lights, tinted glass and cab decals in US or EU versions.

Who it’s for

Designed for large farms running wide implements: seeding, heavy cultivators or disc harrows. The tracked versions reduce soil compaction and give more traction on big fields, while the wheeled 8R is nimbler for transport.

Version notes

The ModHub shows version 1.0.0.0, released in January 2022, with no later updates. It’s still published on the official ModHub and is also available on PlayStation and Xbox.

Requirements

• Farming Simulator 22 (PC/Mac, PS4, PS5, Xbox One or Xbox Series)
• About 42 MB of free disk space
• No other mods needed

How to install it

1. Open Farming Simulator 22 and go to the mods section (ModHub) from the main menu.
2. Search for "John Deere 8R 8RT 8RX 2020" and download it.
3. On PC/Mac you can also download the .zip from the official ModHub page and copy it, without unzipping, to Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2022\mods.
4. Load your savegame and enable the mod in the mod list.
5. Go to the store, John Deere large tractors section, and choose the 8R, 8RT or 8RX.
6. Before buying, set the engine, tires or tracks and weights in the configurator.
