The John Deere HX20 by Blacksheep Modding is a batwing mower: a center section plus two side wings that fold up for transport. It’s a very common implement in North America for maintaining pastures, ditches and stubble.

What it’s for on the farm

With the mulching configuration it shreds stubble after harvest, a task that boosts the yield of the next crop in FS22. Without it, it cuts grass and keeps field edges tidy. Since it only needs 75 hp, a mid-size tractor can pull it.

Availability and tips

Works on PC/Mac, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series, is under 7 MB and needs no other mods. It has one of the highest ratings on the FS22 ModHub. Add the lights option if you’ll be working at night, and always fold it before heading out on the road.

How to install it

1. Download it from the official ModHub (link on this page) or search for "John Deere HX20" in the in-game Mods menu, on PC or console.
2. If you download it manually on PC/Mac, copy FS22_JD_HX20.zip into the mods folder without unzipping it: Documents > My Games > FarmingSimulator2022 > mods.
3. Activate the mod when you create or load your savegame.
4. Buy it in the shop under mowers and choose whether you want lights, mulcher and wheels.
