What this mod does
The Liftable Bales Pack by Jos modifies the base-game balers and cotton harvesters so they produce 100 kg bales. At that weight you can pick them up on foot, which is impossible with regular bales.
What’s included
- Twelve round and square balers: Anderson BioBaler WB-55, Case IH LB436, CLAAS Rollant 455 and Quadrant 5300, Krone BiG Pack, Kuhn VB 3190 and SB 1290, Fendt, Massey Ferguson, New Holland and Pöttinger.
- Case IH Module Express 635 and John Deere CP690 cotton harvesters, the latter with 2,000, 5,000 and 10,000-liter round bales.
- Anderson, Kuhn and Kverneland bale wrappers for silage, hay or straw bales.
- Farmtech DPW 1800 autoload, Arcusin, Anderson RBM2000 and Lizard trailers to move the bales.
- Purchasable bales of forage, straw, silage or chopped beets.
What it’s for
It’s ideal if you play on foot or run a small farm without a loader: you can pick up bales, stack them or load them onto a trailer by hand. Since version 1.1.2.0 the bales have sizes compatible with base-game machinery and other mods.
Tips
It works on PC/Mac, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series and weighs about 5 MB. To wrap hay or straw you need the pack’s own wrappers and trailers, not the base-game ones.

How to install it
- Download it from the official ModHub (link on this page) or search for "Liftable Bales Pack" in the in-game Mods menu, on PC or console.
- If you download it manually on PC/Mac, copy FS22_Liftable_Bales_Pack.zip (do not unzip it) into the mods folder: Documents > My Games > FarmingSimulator2022 > mods.
- Enable the mod when you create or load your savegame.
- Find the pack's balers, wrappers and trailers in the shop; the 100 kg bales can be picked up on foot.

Common problems
Does it work on console?
Yes. ModHub offers it on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, as well as PC/Mac; on console you download it from the in-game Mods menu.
How much do the bales weigh?
100 kg, which is why you can lift them by hand.
Can I wrap hay or straw?
Yes, but only with the pack's modified wrappers and trailers.
