LumberJack for Farming Simulator 22

What this mod does

LumberJack, by loki_79, is one of the most downloaded scripts in FS22. It makes clearing trees on foot with the chainsaw much more comfortable without breaking the game’s realism, and adds some helpers for when you need to move wood by hand.

What it adds

• A marker that shows where the chainsaw is going to cut.
• Super strength: hold ALT to activate it briefly or press ALT twice to lock it on. With it you can lift heavy logs and delete trees.
• Stump grinding in about 3 seconds and destruction of small pieces of wood.
• Adjustable cutting speed and range, plus configurable mass and pick-up distance with super strength.
• Tree cutting across the whole map, even in areas you can’t buy.
• Object weight shown in the F1 menu and an option to run with the chainsaw in hand.
• Removal of bushes and vegetation with the chainsaw (disabled by default).

Multiplayer

On a server you can turn wood chip generation on or off, and the admin can grant separate permissions for strength, speed and chainsaw settings. It’s compatible with PlayerSpeed and QuickCamera.

Version 1.5.4.0 improved vegetation detection when removing bushes. A must-have if you do forestry work or clear plots full of trees.

How to install it

1. Download FS22_LumberJack.zip from the ModHub page.
2. Copy the file, without unzipping it, into Documents/My Games/FarmingSimulator2022/mods.
3. Enable LumberJack when you load your savegame.
4. Equip the chainsaw: you'll see the cut marker.
5. Hold ALT to use super strength briefly or press ALT twice to keep it on.
6. Adjust speed, range and options like brush clearing in the game's settings menu.
