Guidance Steering for Farming Simulator 22

What this mod does

Guidance Steering, by Wopster, adds a guidance system to Farming Simulator 22 similar to the GPS on real tractors. It lets you draw parallel lines across the field for the vehicle to follow, so your passes stay straight with no overlaps or gaps.

How it works

• AB method: you mark two points, A and B, and the mod calculates the direction of the lines.
• A+heading method: you mark one point and enter the angle you want to follow.
• Left Alt + C turns guidance on and Left Ctrl + S opens its menu.

Current version

Version 2.1.6.0 fixes an alignment bug in multiplayer, prevents creating points A and B in the same spot and fixes some UI details. Earlier versions added the option to adjust the heading, dashed lines and fixes when reversing.

It’s especially useful with wide implements, seeders and sprayers, where a small deviation leaves strips unworked. It’s tiny and needs no other mods.

Requirements

• Farming Simulator 22 on PC or Mac (not available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One or Xbox Series)
• No additional mods

How to install it

1. Go to the official ModHub page and download FS22_guidanceSteering.zip.
2. Copy the .zip, without unzipping it, into Documents/My Games/FarmingSimulator2022/mods.
3. Enable the mod when you load or create your savegame.
4. Get in the tractor and press Left Ctrl + S to open the menu and create the line with the AB or A+heading method.
5. Press Left Alt + C to turn guidance on or off.
6. If the shortcuts clash with another mod, change them in Options > Controls.
