What this mod does

The Medium Modern House is a modern farmhouse made by gamerhzsFSH. Its big selling point is that every room can be explored: you can walk in and look around inside, something many houses in the game don’t allow.

What it’s for

It’s a decorative building: it replaces or complements the map’s house with a contemporary design. In the game, farmhouses serve as your farm’s starting point and give the yard personality. Its medium size lets you place it on plots that aren’t too big without taking space from sheds and silos.

It works on PC/Mac, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series, needs no other mods and takes up about 15 MB. It’s rated 4.7 from over 1,700 votes. The same author made the Stihl MS 661 C chainsaw.

Tip: before placing it, level the ground and leave room in front to park your everyday vehicles, like the pickup or the ATV. If the map already has a house, sell it or move it elsewhere to free up space.

How to install it

1. On console: open the in-game Mods menu (ModHub), search for "Medium Modern House" and download it.
2. On PC/Mac: download it from the in-game Mods menu or get FS22_Medium_Modern_House.zip from the official ModHub page.
3. If you download it manually, copy the .zip (don't unzip it) into the mods folder: Documents > My Games > FarmingSimulator2022 > mods.
4. Enable the mod when you load or create your savegame.
5. Place it from the construction menu, under farmhouses.
