What this mod does
No Man’s Land is one of the most downloaded and highest-rated community maps on the Farming Simulator 22 ModHub. Its approach is different from most: there are no pre-made fields or village with neighbors, just wild land on the border between France and Spain that you have to transform yourself from scratch.
How it plays
- You start in uncolonized territory, with a single road in and out.
- You decide where the fields, sheds and selling points go, using placeable buildings and the landscaping tool.
- You can steer your savegame toward a simple farm, a dairy operation, wool or forestry.
- When creating the savegame, you have the option to remove all trees and rocks from the map.
Who it’s for
It’s a good fit if you enjoy building and planning more than following a ready-made map. It takes patience at first, because you have to prepare the land before producing anything, but in return the farm layout is entirely yours.
Version notes
Version 1.3.0.0 added placeable productions (gold, lime, methane, flower and mushroom greenhouses), methane trailers and a sawmill that makes up to 6 pallets of planks a day. Version 1.4.0.0 lets you sell products from DLC productions, adds paintable meadows and ground textures, and a selling point for root crops. Neither requires starting a new savegame.

Common problems
The map doesn't show up in the list
Check that the FS22_noMansLand.zip file is in the mods folder without unzipping and that your game is up to date.
Do I have to start a new savegame when updating?
No. According to the author, neither 1.3.0.0 nor 1.4.0.0 requires a new savegame.
Why are there no fields at the start?
That's the idea of the map: the land is unworked and you create the fields and the farm with the construction and landscaping tools.
