Pigshed for Farming Simulator 22

What this mod does

The Pigshed by [DMI]20mmNormandy adds two vintage-looking pig barns in the style of traditional European livestock sheds. They’re an alternative to the modern pig farms in the base game.

Models included

• Small pig barn: 40 meters long, 170 pigs, $93,000 price and $85 daily upkeep.
• Large pig barn: 90 meters long, 250 pigs, $135,000 and $125 daily upkeep.

What it’s for on the farm

Pigs are among the most profitable animals in FS22, but they need a varied diet of grain, corn, soybeans or canola, and root crops. These barns let you raise lots of animals in a long building that fits nicely along roads or field edges, and they produce slurry to fertilize your fields.

Availability and tips

Works on PC/Mac, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series, is about 10 MB and needs no other mods. Version 1.1.0.0 fixed minor bugs. If you’re just starting out, the small barn is easier to keep supplied; the large one is cheaper per animal, but it takes up 90 meters, so measure your land carefully before buying it and leave access for feed trailers.

Requirements

• Farming Simulator 22 on PC/Mac, PS4, PS5, Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S
• About 10 MB of free space
• A long plot: 40 or 90 meters
