Wind Turbine Package for Farming Simulator 22

What this mod does

The Wind Turbine Package by Razak adds three placeable wind turbines that adapt to wind direction and speed. They’re a long-term investment: they cost a lot, but they generate income every hour without you doing anything.

Models

• Large: $1,200,000, $4,200 per hour in income and $100 daily upkeep.
• Medium: $960,000, $3,600 per hour and $80 per day.
• Small: $768,000, $3,000 per hour and $60 per day.

What it does for your farm

It’s a way to diversify your farm’s economy with renewable energy. Since they’re expensive, they make more sense mid-game, when the farm is already profitable and you want steady income. They also give the landscape a modern look, especially on open hillsides.

Current version

Version 1.3.0.0 makes them purchasable with the land. Earlier updates fixed the descriptions, the blades’ rotation direction and speed, and changed the logos. It weighs under 2 MB and works on PC and consoles.

Usage tips

Work out the payback before buying: the small one needs about 256 hours of play to recover its price, not counting upkeep.

• About 2 MB of free space

How to install it

1. Download it from the official ModHub (link on this page) or search for "Wind Turbine Package" in the in-game Mods menu, on PC or console.
2. If you download it manually on PC/Mac, copy FS22_WindTurbinePackage.zip (do not unzip it) into the mods folder: Documents > My Games > FarmingSimulator2022 > mods.
3. Enable the mod when you create or load your savegame.
4. Place the wind turbine from the construction menu, in the generators section.
