What this mod does

Aetherhaven, by Hexvane, turns your game into a town-building game. You lay out plots, put up buildings, attract villagers with their own names and progress through quests that unlock more and more. You can play solo or with friends.

What it offers

  • Villagers with routines: they work, rest and remember what you do. You can give them gifts, celebrate their birthdays and throw feasts to keep them happy.
  • Automatic production: farms, mills, mines and animal product collection generate resources over time, and a morning tithe fills the treasury.
  • Guild and defense: in the guild hall you hire knights, archers and mages, mark patrol routes and command your troops during raids.
  • Building: you plan plots, lay out paths and walls, design your own buildings and share them with other players from inside the game.
  • Multiplayer: invite friends to your town, open player shops and receive visitors through tourist portals.

Getting started

Craft a Town Planning Desk at the workbench, use it to create a Town Charter, place it where you want the town and talk to Lyren, the elder. From there, the town journal guides you through the quests.

Version 3.2.1 (September 21, 2026) is for Hytale 0.6. 3.2.0 added automatic world and town backups, villager voices and compatibility with leveling mods. It has its own wiki at aetherhaven.net.

Update (Oct 12, 2026): with Update 7 (0.7) now out, the author has already published a compatible file: version 4.0.0 (October 12, 2026). What’s described on this page was checked with the previous version; review the author’s changelog in case anything has changed.
