Senza’s Battle Gauntlets for Hytale

What this mod does

Senza’s Battle Gauntlets, by SenzaKoi, adds gauntlets as a new weapon type, with custom attack animations, effects and abilities. It’s for anyone who wants to fight with their fists in a fast, aggressive style that’s different from the sword or the axe.

Materials

There are seven gauntlets that follow the game’s normal progression: copper, iron, thorium, cobalt, adamantite, mithril and onyxium. Abilities unlock based on the material tier.

Moves

• Light attack: an 8-hit combo.
• Charged attack: a lunge that ends in a ground slam that launches enemies upward.
• Right-click: block; combined with left-click, a guard strike, and if you’re also moving, a dodge or dash.
• Q: a quick hook (Wind Surge) when tapped, or a fist charge (Flash Fist) if you hold the key.
• E: Bellstrike Fury, four hits in a row that use half your energy.

Important requirement

The author warns that Patchly must be enabled for the gauntlets to show up at the anvil. Version 1.4.1, from September 7, 2026, updates the mod to version 0.6 of the game. It works well with Perfect Parries, RPG Leveling and Stats and Endgame & QoL, which the author recommends.

Update (October 20, 2026): the author has already published a file for Hytale 0.7 (Update 7): 1.4.2, from October 16, 2026.

Requirements

• Hytale (Early Access) on PC, version 0.6 (file BattleGauntlets-1.4.2.zip)
• Patchly installed and enabled in the same world or server (without it, the gauntlets don't show up at the anvil)
• Recommended by the author: Perfect Parries, RPG Leveling and Stats and Endgame & QoL

How to install it

1. Open the Senza's Battle Gauntlets page on CurseForge and click Install to install it with the CurseForge app, or download the file BattleGauntlets-1.4.2.zip (version for 0.6) from the Files tab.
2. Also install Patchly from its CurseForge page (the app downloads it automatically if you use Install) and enable it in the same world.
3. If you download it manually, copy the file as is, without unzipping it, into the mods folder: on Windows, %APPDATA%\Hytale\UserData\Mods.
4. Open Hytale, right-click the world where you want to use it, check Senza's Battle Gauntlets in the mod list and save the world settings.
5. On a dedicated server, place the file in the server's mods folder and restart it.
6. In your game, find the gauntlets at the anvil and try the combo with left-click and the abilities with Q and E.

Common problems
