What this mod does
Wan’s Storage Drawers replaces messy chests with storage drawers: each one holds a large amount of a single item type and shows a 3D model of the contents and the item count on its front.
How to use them
- Left-click: take items out.
- Crouch + left-click: take out a full stack.
- F: store what you’re holding.
- If you break a drawer, it keeps its contents, so you can move it without anything spilling out.
Variants
There are drawers in the game’s woods: Blackwood, Deadwood, Drywood, Goldenwood, Hardwood, Lightwood, Redwood, Softwood and Tropicalwood.
Version and compatibility
Version 1.2.4 (October 12, 2026) is the update for Update 7. The previous version moved the configuration to Hytale’s native system, avoids crashes from badly written configs and fixed some drawers that couldn’t be broken and froze the server. It doesn’t need any other mods. It’s by WanMine, the same Italian team behind Wan’s Wonder Weapons. It’s inspired by the classic drawers from building games, but the models are original.

Requirements
- Hytale (Early Access) on PC or server, version 0.7 (file StorageDrawers-1.2.4.jar)
- No dependencies: it doesn't need any other mods
How to install it
- Open the Wan's Storage Drawers page on CurseForge and click Install to add it with the CurseForge app, or download StorageDrawers-1.2.4.jar from the Files tab (the file tagged 0.7).
- If you download it manually, copy the file as is, without unzipping it, into the mods folder: on Windows, %APPDATA%\Hytale\UserData\Mods.
- Open Hytale, right-click the world, check Wan's Storage Drawers in the mod list and save the world settings.
- On a dedicated server, put the file in the server's mods folder and restart it.
- In game, place a drawer, press F with an item in hand to store it and left-click to take it out.

Common problems
Do I lose the contents when I break the drawer?
No. The drawer keeps what's inside, so you can move it without anything dropping.
How many items fit?
The description only says a large amount of a single item; it doesn't give a number.
How do I take out a whole stack?
Crouch and left-click the drawer.
