What this mod does
Gui’s Furniture and Stuff fills your homes with household furniture in the game’s style. Everything is crafted at its own bench, the Gui’s Crafting Bench.
What it adds
- Modular kitchens, including a village version.
- A sink that fills buckets and watering cans.
- Grills that work like a campfire and cook the basic recipes.
- Modular sofas: the village set has six pieces in eight colors, plus chairs, a table and a coffee table.
- 17 rugs grouped into four color families.
- 32 vases in clay, stone, metal or wood and 44 decorative plants.
Customizable items switch variants when you hit them with a hammer: you craft a rug and cycle it through the colors.
What’s new in 1.9
Released on October 12, 2026 alongside Update 7, it brings vases, plants and the village furniture, rounds off the sofas and makes recipes cheaper: a sofa now takes 1 wool instead of 4. Keep in mind that in 0.7 cooked food buffs last 6 minutes, so the grill is useful, not just decorative. It doesn’t need any other mods.

Requirements
- Hytale (Early Access) on PC or server, version 0.7 (file Gui_FurnitureAndStuff_1.9.zip)
- No dependencies: it doesn't need any other mods
How to install it
- Open the Gui's Furniture and Stuff page on CurseForge and click Install to add it with the CurseForge app, or download Gui_FurnitureAndStuff_1.9.zip from the Files tab (the file tagged 0.7).
- If you download it manually, copy the file as is, without unzipping it, into the mods folder: on Windows, %APPDATA%\Hytale\UserData\Mods.
- Open Hytale, right-click the world, check Gui's Furniture and Stuff in the mod list and save the world settings.
- On a dedicated server, put the file in the server's mods folder and restart it.
- In game, craft the Gui's Crafting Bench and pick the furniture from its tabs; use a hammer on customizable pieces to switch variants.

Where is the furniture crafted?

How do I change the color of a rug or sofa?
Hit it with a hammer: customizable items cycle through their variants.
Can you cook on the grills?
