What this mod does
Hyper Stacks is a PedriJoe server mod that lets you decide how many units fit in each inventory stack. It’s good both for saving chest space and for tuning a server’s balance.
How it sets the stack size
- Global value: everything stacks up to 999 by default.
- Patterns: a command sets the limit for every item whose ID contains a string, for example
/hyperstacks set log 500for all logs. - Specific items:
/hyperstacks set hytale:stone 64takes priority over the pattern and the global value. - Exceptions: weapons, tools, armor and workbenches stay at 1.
Changes are saved to config.json; after editing it by hand, /hyperstacks reload reads it again.
Requirements and Update 7
It needs PJ CoreLib. Version 1.3.1 (October 12, 2026) is the update for 0.7. With Update 7, health, stamina and energy potions stack up to 10 out of the box; the mod’s global value applies to everything that isn’t gear, so if you want to keep that limit, set it with a pattern. Don’t combine it with BIGGER STACKS: both change the same thing.

Highlights and things to keep in mind
- Global value, patterns and per-item settings: very fine control
- Gear is left out automatically
- Updated the same day as Update 7
- Needs PJ CoreLib
- The description doesn't detail the config.json options
- 999-item stacks change survival balance a lot, including potions, which 0.7 caps at 10
- All Rights Reserved license
Requirements
- Hytale (Early Access) on PC or server, version 0.7 (file PJ-HyperStacks-1.3.1.jar)
- PJ CoreLib (required)
- Operator permissions to use /hyperstacks
How to install it
- Open the Hyper Stacks page on CurseForge and click Install to add it with the CurseForge app, or download PJ-HyperStacks-1.3.1.jar from the Files tab (the file tagged 0.7).
- If you download it manually, copy the file as is, without unzipping it, into the mods folder: on Windows, %APPDATA%\Hytale\UserData\Mods.
- Install PJ CoreLib the same way too (it's required).
- Open Hytale, right-click the world, check Hyper Stacks in the mod list and save the world settings.
- On a dedicated server, put the file in the server's mods folder and restart it.
- In game, use /hyperstacks set with an ID or part of an ID and the number you want to adjust the limits.

Common problems
Can I stack swords or pickaxes?
No. The mod keeps weapons, tools, armor and workbenches at 1 even if you change the global value.
What takes priority if an item matches a pattern and has its own setting?
The specific item setting, which overrides the pattern and the global value of 999.
Can I use it alongside BIGGER STACKS?
Not a good idea: both change stack sizes, and the result would depend on the load order.
