What this mod does
Ingots Alchemy adds a new category, «Ingots Exchange», to the Alchemy Bench so you can trade ingots of one tier for higher-tier ones. It’s a way to put the copper or iron piling up in your chests to use and turn it into rarer metals.
Exchange table
- 10 copper → 1 iron; 10 iron → 1 thorium; 2 thorium → 1 cobalt.
- 10 cobalt → 1 silver; 10 silver → 1 gold; 10 gold → 1 adamantite.
- 10 adamantite → 1 mithril; 10 mithril → 1 onyxium; 10 onyxium → 1 prisma.
You can also convert downward; 1.1.2 rebalanced that reverse conversion, and the page doesn’t give its ratios. The recipes are at the Alchemy Bench and the PJMods Bench.
Requirements and Update 7
CurseForge marks PJ CoreLib as a required dependency (the description says it’s only needed for the PJMods Bench, but it’s best to install it anyway). Version 1.1.3, from October 12, 2026, is the adaptation to Update 7. Watch the balance: with this mod, ores from the advanced zones lose some of their value, especially on servers with an economy such as PJ Money, where you might prefer not to install it or to warn your players.

Requirements
- Hytale (Early Access) on PC or server, version 0.7 (file PJ-IngotsAlchemy-1.1.3.zip)
- PJ CoreLib (required according to the dependencies tab)
- An Alchemy Bench or the PJMods Bench
How to install it
- Open the Ingots Alchemy page on CurseForge and click Install to set it up with the CurseForge app, or download PJ-IngotsAlchemy-1.1.3.zip from the Files tab (the file marked 0.7).
- If you download it manually, copy the file as is, without unzipping it, into the mods folder: on Windows, %APPDATA%\Hytale\UserData\Mods.
- Also install PJ CoreLib the same way.
- Open Hytale, right-click the world, check Ingots Alchemy in the mod list and save the world settings.
- On a dedicated server, put the file in the server's mods folder and restart it.
- Open the Alchemy Bench and look for the Ingots Exchange category.

Common problems
How many copper ingots do I need for one iron?
Ten. Almost every step is 10 to 1; the exception is thorium to cobalt, which is 2 to 1.
Can I convert back down a tier?
Yes, there's also a reverse conversion. 1.1.2 rebalanced it, but the page doesn't publish the ratios.
Do I need PJ CoreLib?
CurseForge marks it as required, although the description says it's only needed for the PJMods Bench. Install it to avoid problems.
